Adult Ministries


St. Paul's Makes providing care and support for its community and others a priority. Check out just a few of the ways we share Christ's love with those around us. Please contact the church office for more information or to sign up.

Christian Community Ministries- 322 Harrison St., Monroe

This group provides food and clothing to the community. You can can volunteer for a 3 hour shift Monday-Thursday or donate clothing.

DeSiard St. Shelter- 807 DeSiard St., Monroe

3rd Thursday Each Month

A group of volunteers from St. Paul's, let by the United Methodist Men, prepare and serve a meal for approximately 135 persons at the Desiard Street Shelter. Serving is from 11:30am-12:30pm and anyone is welcome to help.

Grace Place -1600 Jackson St., Monroe

Second Friday of the Month

Each month a group gathers to cook and serve a hot meal to those in need. Volunteers may choose to cook, serve or both.

Help build homes for families in need or donate supplies Thursday-Saturday at the Habitat Re-Store. You can also pick up donations and deliver them to the Re-Store. If you are interested in donating or picking up donations, please 318-737-1112.

Habitat for humanity is at 2308 Washington St., Monroe and the ReStore is at 1220 N. 18th St., Monroe.

Meals on Wheels

Every Other Month

We prepare and deliver meals to the elderly and persons with disabilities in Monroe and West Monroe.

Take a weekend trip to help our neighbors on the Mississippi Delta with minor repairs and clean up of homes.

Help brighten the holiday of a child.

Mexico Mission

Twice per year

St. Paul's sends a team to Mexico the help with Manos Juntas (Hands Together), a group that educates and assists the poor in Mexico.

Lexington Elementary

Volunteers are needed to help kindergarteners at Lexington Elementary with reading and administering computer given comprehension tests for the Accelerated Reader Program. Training is available.

Bring a bag of dried beans with you to church to benefit Rays of Sonshine: a local ministry helping individuals and families overcome the effects of addiction.
