UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW)

The United Methodist Women (UMW) is the largest denominational women's group in the world and has over 800,000 members worldwide. The entire program focuses on mission. Our mission goals have always focused on women, children and youth.

At St. Paul's we have a total of four UMW groups we call "Circles." Each group meets once a month for prayer, devotion and study, and mission projects. All women are invited to attend any Circle at any time (all groups meet in the Parlor located near the church sanctuary). There is no need to register ahead of time before attending, but if you would more information about UMW contact us below.

Our groups that meet at different times of the week for your convenience:

  • Circle of Friends - second Sunday of each month at 5 pm
  • Harmony Circle - third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm
  • Joy Circle - second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm
  • Mary Henry Circle - fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am

We have four general meetings throughout the year for all Circles to meet together. In addition we have one major fundraiser: a Chicken Salad Luncheon on the first Tuesday in May. All money raised is given away to a variety of local charities.

United methodist men (UMM)

The men of our church join together to support one another, and they get together once a month for lunch.  They support many ministries together, with their biggest fundraiser hosted at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo benefiting the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home with many activities, a cook-off, games and more.
