WEDNESDAY FAMILY NIGHT
Wednesday Activities Out for Summer - Resumes August 24
Dinner and Activities for All Ages!
Are you looking for a great place to have dinner and fellowship with family and friends? Then come check out of Wednesday Family Nights!
We begin with dinner at 5:15pm in our Fellowship Area. The menu changes weekly and includes many types of food from spaghetti and meat balls, pizza, chicken pot pie, smoked pork loin and of course chili-cheese dogs which are always popular with the kids. Dinner is $4 per person or $12 per family, but if money is tight...come join us anyway! Afterwards, at 6pm, we have activities (outlined below) for children and youth and a meditative worship service for adults in our Contemporary Sanctuary.
Music Makers Choir (ages 3 thru 1st grade)
Room #302/Music Room
The Music Makers Choir sings, learns Bible stories, and has play time. The group usually has 2 performances, one at Christmas and the second in the spring. Join in the fun!
Bible 101 for Kids (2nd thru 4th grades)
Room #106/Flinn's Men
Jill Mouk teaches the Bible 101 class for students in 2nd – 4th grades. Students will learn to recite the Books of the Bible, identify the Ten Commandments, have “Bible wars” to find scripture the fastest, and study Bible stories. During Sunday School classes we stress the meaning of scripture and emphasize the Bible message. This class focuses more on Bible “basics.” Children will have fun through competitions while learning at the same time!
Club 56 (5th and 6th grades)
Room #301/Club 56
Club 56 has short lessons, plays games and occasionally performs community outreach projects. Sarah Cuthbert and Julie Fontana lead this lively group!
Youth Wednesday Night Bible Group
Room #209/Youth Room
Youth join together for a time of learning and fellowship with interactive conversations led by Margo Morgan.
