KIDS MATTER AT ST. PAUL'S
From Vacation Bible School in the summer to the children's Birthday Party for Jesus at Christmas, all of the children's activities at St. Paul's are committed to helping children learn about Jesus, develop a meaning relationship with Him, and allow children to reach out to others with age-appropriate service opportunities. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today and that fun and games are ok at church.
In short, we want them to know that where God is, life is more fun!
KIDS LOVE SUNDAYS AT ST. PAUL'S:
Sunday School
Every Sunday at 10 am, we host fun Sunday School classes for all ages. Children K-6th participate in Rotation Sunday School.
For nursery through grade 4, we ask that you check your child into our system, where your child will get a name tag, and you'll get a matching tag. Once Sunday School is over, you will return to the kitchen/fellowship area and show your tag and check your child out so your child can be released back to you.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is for students in the sixth grade. The group meets September through May on Sundays from 4-5 pm. The Confirmation journey is a comprehensive, hands-on program presented in a youth-friendly way and designed to help kids understand and explore their Christian faith.

YOUTH
We LOVE our students!
They're smart. They're funny. They're bold. And they're bursting with potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making.
This moment in life can be both amazing and hard, and our community of student have shown a love for each other and for spreading the love of Jesus to our community and beyond. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Jesus
through which they will discover everything God made them to be. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search for answers and truly learn to listen to His leading.
YOUTH meets Sundays at 5 pm and, during the school year, Wednesdays at 6.
Junior and Senior high school students also meet for breakfast on Tuesday mornings before school.
SMALL GROUPS
Small groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. We intentionally strive toward community through Sunday School, men's and women's groups, and home gatherings we call "Connections."
Weekend Retreats
Taking time out is one of the most valuable and efficient things you can do. Taking time out with fun groups of men and women are even better! Try a weekend retreat! It's one of the best things you can do for yourself!

ADULT OPPORTUNITIES
We have many engaging events and gatherings designed to build faith and community.
Young or old, Christian or not, single or married, man or woman - we've got a place for you.
CONNECTIONS
We like to meet in small groups. One type is through home groups we call Connections. We have groups that meet Monday - Thursday. Connections are authentic people who get together and visit. No Bible study, just connections. We've found when we have honest relationships together, we have an easier time of asking hard questions and challenging each other to grow. When we learn about one another the more we care about one another and know each other's needs, making it easier to put love into action. We keep the meetings to just an hour (if we don't eat together) or an hour and a half. And we share great food, too!
WOMEN
We have several different types of groups women can join! Bible studies on Monday evenings or Friday afternoons, United Methodist Women (UMW) groups we call Circles, and more. Whether it's engaging in discussion or doing service projects like making jewelry with young girls at an in-home recovery center, we have the right group for you. Some of the Bible studies we have for women are:
Monday Evening Bible Study: weekly in Library at 5:30 pm (Sep - April)
Thursday Lunch Bible Study: weekly in Library at 11:30 am (Sep - Nov; Jan - March)
Anchored Women Bible Study: every other Friday at 11:30 in Parlor
MEN
The men of St. Paul's are active, involved and have a great time, whether it's helping with service projects, cooking for the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home fundraiser, getting together for Bible study or just eating out and visiting through United Methodist Men, and you're invited to join in!
